L2 Support Engineer | Lusaka Province, Zambia
April 2, 2025
This photo was taken in 2013, a time when I was filled with ambition, curiosity, and a deep desire to make an impact in the world of technology. That same year, I watched *Jobs* (2013), the movie about Steve Jobs and how he revolutionized the tech industry. It left a lasting impression on me. I was inspired by his relentless pursuit of innovation, his ability to see what others could not, and his refusal to accept the status quo. Back then, I was just a high school student with big dreams, sketching out ideas for gadgets and imagining a future where I’d contribute to the tech world.
Fast forward to today, and I find myself on that very path, working as an L2 Support Engineer at NetOne Zambia and continuously learning to grow in the field. It hasn’t been a straight road—there were moments of doubt, technical challenges, and late nights troubleshooting systems. But each hurdle reinforced my resolve. Watching Steve Jobs’ story taught me that innovation isn’t just about talent; it’s about persistence and vision. From configuring networks at Zambia Airports Corporation to securing systems at NetOne, I’ve turned those early dreams into tangible skills that make a difference.
Looking at this photo, I realize how far I’ve come and how much further I still have to go. The dream isn’t just about where I am today but about where I’m headed—perhaps leading IT projects that transform Zambia’s tech landscape. To anyone chasing a vision: stay persistent, keep learning, and never stop believing in what’s possible. The road from high school dreamer to tech professional is proof that with grit, those early sparks can ignite a lasting fire.
